For grown-ups

Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 September 2026

The short version: A parent or guardian accepts these terms and supervises the child. Your family keeps ownership of its content. Tuki receives only the limited permission needed to provide the requested service.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between the adult accepting them and Tuki Technologies Ltd (company number 17425976) ("Tuki", "we", "us" or "our"). They apply to the Tuki mobile app and related services.

By installing, setting up or using Tuki for a child, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are the child's parent or legal guardian or have their permission, can enter this agreement, and will supervise the child's use. If you do not agree, do not use Tuki.

2. What Tuki provides

Tuki provides creative tools and activities for families. The features available to you are those shown in the app and may depend on your device, location, connectivity and membership status.

Features may change as the product develops. We may update, suspend or withdraw a feature when reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal, technical or product reasons. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Adult supervision and personal information

The adult is responsible for supervising content submitted through Tuki and use of the grown-up area. Do not submit content containing faces, names, school information, addresses, contact details or other information that identifies a child or anyone else. Check all content before submitting it.

Our Privacy Policy explains how content and other information are handled.

4. Your family's content

Your family keeps its ownership and other rights in content submitted to Tuki. You confirm that you have permission to submit the content and that doing so does not infringe another person's rights.

You give Tuki a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use submitted content only as needed to provide and secure Tuki, comply with law and enforce these terms. This licence ends when that processing and any necessary retention end, except where the law requires longer retention. It does not give Tuki the right to publish, sell or advertise with the content.

5. Generated content

Content created through Tuki may be surprising, inaccurate, incomplete, unsuitable or different from submitted content. A grown-up must review each result before showing or sharing it with a child. Do not rely on generated content for factual, medical, legal, safety or other important advice.

We do not promise a particular result or that every request will complete. We may reject or stop a request for safety, rights, capacity or technical reasons.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Tuki to:

You are responsible for your device, its passcode, available storage, backups and exports. Removing the app, clearing its data, losing or replacing the device, or a device failure may permanently remove content. Tuki does not promise a backup or recovery service.

8. Membership, if launched

Tuki membership is not available in the current release. If it launches, the following will apply together with the price, billing period and animation allowance shown before purchase:

We will not charge for membership unless the adult completes the marketplace's purchase flow.

9. Adult accounts, if launched

If adult accounts become available, you must provide accurate information, protect sign-in credentials and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You may stop using Tuki at any time. Available account deletion controls and the consequences of deletion will be explained in the app.

10. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary because of a serious or repeated breach, child safety risk, unlawful conduct, fraud, security threat, service restriction or legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will give the adult notice and a chance to respond. Terms intended to continue—such as ownership, accrued payment duties, liability limits and governing law—survive termination.

11. Availability and responsibility

We provide Tuki with reasonable care and skill but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, permanent storage, or a particular result. Tuki may depend on internet access and third-party services.

We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, Tuki is intended for personal family use and we are not responsible for business losses. We are not responsible for loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by failure to follow these terms.

12. Consumer rights

You may have statutory rights concerning digital content and services, including that they be as described, of satisfactory quality and supplied with reasonable care and skill. These terms do not restrict those rights. In the UK, information is available from Citizens Advice or your local trading standards service.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for legal, safety, security, technical or product reasons. We will post the new terms here, change the date above and provide reasonable notice of material changes. If you do not agree to a material change, stop using Tuki before it takes effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that a consumer living elsewhere may also rely on mandatory local law and bring proceedings in courts available under that law.
